From the Marco Polo Airport (Tessera):


The best way to reach Locanda Matir is to take a private water taxi. In 1/2 hour you'll get Rio Ca' Foscari, where the inn is situated.

If not there is the public road bus service (ACTV or ATVO lines) which connects the airport to the Car Terminal of Piazzale Roma in 20 minutes. Then, you have 10 minutes walking to St. Margherita Square, or the water buses to San Tomà or Ca' Rezzonico (see indications from Car Terminal of Piazzale Roma).

Other choice is the water shuttle ALILAGUNA, which, through the Venetian lagoon, will bring you directly to St. Mark's Square in 1 hour and 10 minutes. Then with public boat (line 1) you'll get off at at Ca' Rezzonico station (stop 11) or at San Tomà (stop 10). From there with a short walk you will reach St Margherita Square, where we are.
 

From Car Terminal of Piazzale Roma: By public water buses (line 1) you have to cross the Canal Grande and get off at the stations of San Tomà (stop 10) or Ca' Rezzonico (stop 11), after a 40 minutes journey. Then, following the directions to Piazzale Roma, you have to walk through St. Barnaba Square and "Ponte dei Pugni", and, in few steps, you'll find us.

From Tronchetto Parking Area:

The private water taxi is the best and fastest way to reach Rio Ca' Foscari, where we are located.

Alternatively you may catch the public line 2 untill Piazzale Roma, and, once you are there, following the indications to Accademia, you'll find the inn after a 10 minutes walking.
